International Surfing Competition (6th – 8th)
This is the time of the year when the sea is rough and fishermen are not able to go to the sea. This is a good time for surfers to show their skills. This event is organized by Pahang State Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism.
Royal Langkawi International Regatta (9th – 14th)
See the famous yachtsmen from various countries competing in Langkawi Island. Dates will be confirmed later.
Chinese New Year (23rd – 24th)
Chinese New Year is a time for celebration and merrymaking. Family reunion feasts and open houses are a common feature and children receive ang pows or little red money packets from the elders. Dont miss the exciting lion and dragon dance performances at shopping malls and homes!
Chinese New Year Open House Celebration (28th)
This Malaysia Events 2012 auspicious occasion is celebrated for 15 days by the Chinese of Malaysia. Other races join in the celebration by attending open houses throughout the country. Large scale open houses are organised with plenty of food for everyone to enjoy. Lion dance and angpows are given out during this time. This year's open house will be held in Johor Bahru.

Thaipusam (7th)
A truly spectacular event, Thaipusam is an annual Hindu festival where devotees perform various rituals as acts of devotion and penance. The main venue is the world-renowned Batu Caves temple.
National Craft Day (22nd – 5th)
See the arts and crafts at Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex. You may be able to find some souvenir here. Fashion shows and cooking demo will be held here as well.
Pasir Gudang International Kites Festival (Date to be update soon)
Enjoy the Malaysia Events 2012 kite flying competition and shows from over 25 participating countries during the monsoon season. Venue is at Pasir Gudang, Johor.
Ironman Malaysia Triathlon (Date to be update soon)
This annual Malaysia Events 2012 is held in Langkawi, Kedah.
Le Tour De Langkawi (24th Feb – 4th March)
Asias premier cycling event, Le Tour de Langkawi 2012 is back! The race will go through seven states of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and two Federal Territories; which are Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia GP (25th)
Since the inception of Formula one in Malaysia in 1999, the Malaysian Grand Prix has established itself as an important event on the racing calendar. The second race of the F1 season, the Malaysian GP is popular with fans and driver's alike, featuring a new, state-of-the-art circuit that boasts long high-speed straights, and tight twisting complexes, but with a wide track to encourage overtaking.
