Sabah Package

Day 1

• 0800hrs - Pick up from Kota Kinabalu Airport or hotel and depart for Kinabalu National Park, approximately 2-hour’s journey from Kota Kinabalu. Along the journey, make a few stops to appreciate the scenery along the Crocker Range and of Mount Kinabalu.
• Stop over at Nabalu Handicraft Center for souvenirs and some local fruits. Upon arrival, visit the Natural History Gallery for video show about the Kinabalu National Park.. About 1100hrs, follow the experienced Sabah Park’s officer for trail interpretation, followed by guided walk at Mountain Garden.
• Lunch will be served at the Park’s Restaurant, after lunch transfer to Mesilau Nature Resort. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and guest will be at own leisure. At about 1500hrs follow the experience Sabah Park’s ranger for guided walk at Nepenthes Trails and learn about the pitcher plants. Guest then will be at own leisure, dinner will be served at Mesilau Restaurant.
• Overnight: Mesilau Nature Resort (Lodge)

Day 2

• Early rise, after breakfast 0800hrs, transfer to Mesilau gate and meet your Mountain Guide for a safety briefing and some climbing tips before transfer to the Mesilau gate as the starting point. From the gate, enjoy the 6 kilometre trek, which will takes about 7 to 8 hours to Panar Laban station (depends largely on fitness of individual climbers/groups).
• The summit trails will lead you through lower montane, upper montane, sub alpine and alpine forest, along the trails look out for some Nepenthes plants assisted by your mountain guide. Take your packed lunch provided along the way and enjoy the refreshing mountain cool air while eating. Upon arrival at Panar Laban, check in and guest will be free at own leisure. Dinner will served from 1730hrs to 1930hrs at Laban Rata restaurant.
• Overnight: Mountain Hut

Day 3

• 0200hrs wake up; start trekking to the summit (Low’s peak) early to be there to witness the breathtaking view of the sunrise, descend the summit to Laban Rata for breakfast and continue trekking down to Timpohon gate.
• Generally, climbers arrive around 1230 hrs at the Timpohon Gate for transfer to the Kinabalu National Park Headquarters for lunch and transfer back to Kota Kinabalu International Airport or hotel.

Day 4

• After breakfast, guest is free at own leisure to enjoy the facilities provided at the resort until airport transfer time.

Descend back the Low’s Peak at 0545hrs. Meet up with your trainer at Sayat – Sayat Hut for walk the Torq, Asia’s first Via Ferrata.
• 0900hrs, arrive back at the Pendant Hut for breakfast at Laban Rata. 1100hrs, descend Laban Rata back to Timpohon Gate. After lunch transfer back to your Kota Kinabalu hotel.

• Wake up for breakfast at 0600hrs. After breakfast, proceed for Intro to Rappelling or Rope Ascending at 0700hrs (Weather permitting). 1100hrs, rest at Laban Rata or Pendant Hut after the activity.
• 1200hrs, guests may have lunch at own account.
• After lunch, proceed for the Walk the Torq – Asia’s First via Ferrata at 1530hrs. Dinner will be served from 1730hrs to 1930hrs at Laban Rata Rest house. Restaurant will be closed at 1930hrs.
• Overnight: Pendant Hut
• Meals: Light Breakfast, Buffet Dinner

Day 3

• At 0200hrs, wake up for light breakfast before continuing the climb to the summit. 0300hrs, continue climbing up to the summit – Enjoy the breathtaking view of sunrise at the tip of Mount Kinabalu, the tallest Mountain in South East Asia – Descend from Low’s Peak. 0630hrs meet with your Mountain Torq trainer at Sayat-Sayat slab Low’s peak circuit - World’s highest Via Ferrata. 1130hrs, expected arrival time at Laban Rata resthouse. Guest may have lunch at own account at Laban Rata Resthouse. After lunch, guests will be free at own leisure. Dinner will be served from 1730hrs to 1930hrs at Laban Rata Rest house. Restaurant will be closed at 1930hrs.
• Overnight: Pendant Hut
• Meals: Pre-climbing breakfast (2am), Buffet Dinner

Day 4

• Wake up at 0600hrs for breakfast at Pendant Hut and pack up. Should the Intro to Rappelling / Rope ascending couldn’t be done on Day 2 due to weather not permitting, guests may do it on the 4th day at 0700hrs - 0900hrs arrive at Pendant Hut.
• Descend down to Timpohon Gate at 1000hrs. 1400hrs, expected arrival time at Timpohon Gate. Transfer to headquarters for lunch before transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
• Meals: Light Breakfast & Lunch

• Early rise at 0200hrs for light breakfast. 0300hrs, continue climbing up to the summit – Enjoy the breathtaking view of sunrise at the tip of Mount Kinabalu, the tallest Mountain in South East Asia – Descend from Low’s Peak. 0630hrs meet with your Mountain Torq trainer at Sayat-Sayat Hut for Low’s Peak Circuit– Asia’s first Via Ferrata. 0930hrs to 1000hrs, arrive at the Pendant Hut.
• Buffet breakfast (own account) will be prepared at Laban Rata. After breakfast, guests free at own leisure. Lunch will be at own account at Laban Rata Resthouse. 1430hrs, will be an Intro to Rappelling section with your mountain Torq trainer (weather permitting). Dinner will be served from 1730hrs to 1930hrs at Laban Rata Rest house. Restaurant will be closed at 1930hrs.
• Overnight: Pendant Hut
• Meals: Pre-climbing breakfast (2am), Buffet Dinner

Day 3

• Wake up at 0600hrs for a light breakfast at Pendant Hut and pack up. Should the Intro to Rappelling couldn’t be done on Day 2 due to weather not permitting, guests may do it on the 3rd day at 0700hrs. 0900hrs arrive at Pendant Hut.
• Descend down to Timpohon Gate at 1000hrs. 1400hrs, expected arrival time at Timpohon Gate. Transfer to headquarters for lunch before transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
