Set among the rolling lawns on the northern bank of the Sarawak river, the majestic palace was built in 1870 by Rajah Charles Brooke, the second white Rajah, as a bridal gift for his wife Ranee Margaret Brooke. It is now the official residence of Sarawak's Head of State and has served as the venue for numerous state functions throughout the years.

A modern metropolis with colourful history and overwhelming progress lies along the Sarawak river, though no one knows for surehow city of Kuching gots its name. It means cat. Divided into 2 sides, the north Kuching or petra jaya and south Kuching. It is the only city in malaysia with 2 city mayors.the site attraction in Kuching include the famous Kuching waterfront. The people's place, where the promenade offers historical features and modern facilities, beautifully landscaped.

Located at the government complex in north Kuching, you will be able to find everything you've wanted to know about cats. This dedicated Cat Museum most probably one of its kind in the world offers informative insights on cats and its family. There are also souvenirs cats, cat key chains, cat t-shirts, cat statues etc.

The Court House is surely one of the most magnificent buildings in Sarawak. The imposing facade has intricate local art pattern incorporated in its door and grilles and roof panels. Completed in 1874, it was the seat of the government during the reign of the while rajahs. The beautiful clock tower was added to the architecture in 1883, with the obelisk memorial to rajah charles brooke officially commissioned in 1924.

Built in 1878, the fort commands a breathtaking and strategic position along the Sarawak river. Named after ranee margaret, it was completed the year after, just in time to defend Kuching against pirate attacks from the river. The fort has since been renovated and now serves as police museum.

A walk up to the mosque is truly a spiritual experience. A man made cascading waterfall adorned by beautifully crafted fountains enhances the tranquility of the mosque. A structurally modern, uniquely designed and yet maintaining its intrinsic spiritual values, the mosque proper is a reflection of what Bintulu truly is. Landscaped with beautiful plants and flowers to please the eyes, it was named "masjid assyikirin" or gratefulness to god.

A retrospective walk down memory lane. On this site, a centenary stone was erected in 1967 and furthur improved in 1987 with a clock tower and fountain to commemorate the centennial of Malaysia's first and oldest state legislative assembly metting when in September 1867, an inaugural gathering of five British officers and 16 local chiefs of various races was held there. This historycal event was convened by Charles Brooke, the second white Rajah of Sarawak.

Another spiritual building is the Kuan Yin Tong Temple of Bintulu. Situated at km 2, jalan iskandar you will be fascinated with the grand design of the temple. Skillfully crafted with quality workmanship. The rock garden courtyard, man made waterfall and dragon fencing are the peculiar features of this unique temple.

Situated at the Miri-pujut road, Bulatan Park is popular among the locals for evening strolls, jogging, boat pedaling and relaxing. The park has a clock tower, fish fountain, man-made lake, children playground and other landscaping which add colours to the park.

Miri City Fan was built as part of the master plan for Miri to become a healthy resort city by the year 2005. A unique fan-shaped park, it is a world class urban civic park with the setting for sport, educational and cultural activities. It includes a promenade. Parkland, an amphitheater, musical fountain, a library and cultural center, and various ethnic gardens. It provides superb social and recreation facilities for the public.

the Forestry Recreation Park covers 200 hectares of land at 18.5 km ulu oya road. Managed by the forestry department, the park serves as the centre for carrying out research into soil and plants, particularly the mixed dipterocarp species such as belian, engkabang, alan and bintangor. A section of the park is open to the public. The park's facilities includie a camping site, a 30-metre watch tower, a cattle and deer farm, and a huge fish pond. A major attraction to be included soon is a butterfly farm.

the Golden Triangle is Sibu's central business and entertainemnt district. It is filled with hundreds of shops, many restaurants, several hotels and the multi-storey Sarawak house Shopping complex. It is a heaven for shoppers, especially during public holidays and festive seasons.

The park was opened in march 1993. Bukit Aup Jubilee Park is located less than 12 km from Sibu town. The road to Bukit Aup Jubilee Park is tar sealed. The total undulating land for development is More than 200 acres. Currently 2 phases have been completed comprising an observation tower, suspension bridge, sky steps, a pavillion, an amphitheatre, a children's playground, a lagoon, a canteen and other buildings. Accommodation will be available in the 3rd phase. This is a special place for Sibu people to relax and keep away from the hectic town life. From the photo you'll notice the beautiful scenery and unique building structures. Sibu people used to come here for picnics and family outing. Barbeque stands are available for visitors to cook their delicious meal. It is a clean place. Visitors are advised to up keep the cleanliness of the park.
